Jamal Wins -New Record Score for BPGA

Jamal Hossain Molla has shown his class once again in 1st Bashundhara Professional Golf Tournament-2017 at Savar golf club from 22nd May to 25 May . He played -10 par  in 3rd round that snatched the hope from Muaj(Maznu) , the leader of  first two rounds- a local boy.

In the final round Jamal scored -7 par and made it a total -20 par  in 04 rounds which is new record for any Bangladeshi golfer . The highest score  -11 par for any Bangladeshi  in a single round also belongs to him.

Once asked Jamal told  the press ” I am growing confidence and could become champion in 05 tournaments in this season. We are happy with the increased number of  tournaments . The credits goes to BPGA specially gratitude for Brig Quamrul and  Maj Mahmud for their personal contributions.’

The hot weather and other conditions were  found tough here in Savar also during the month for  professional golfing .However, the overall performance  of the field that consisted  72 professionals and 04 amateurs saw improvement from last few tournaments.
