02 Professional and 02 amateur golfers are selected to make Bangladesh Golf team in Asian Games. It is learnt that BOA and Golf Federation realized the facts of sending best golfers of the country very late. They were preparing to send 04 amateur golfers like past happenings.

But the Asian Games and Olympic authority decided that best golfers meaning top professionals of Asia should participate in the games much early. As such countries should send their best golfers.
But our sports administration are yet to receive the technical handbook of the games. So Bangladesh decided to send a team of mix of pros and am. As such the names of professional Golfers ‘Siddikur Rahman , Zamal Hossain Molla and amateur golfers Shafique Bagha and Liton Mondal were sent for accreditation .
